Everyone needs friends like Dave and the guys.... Seriously a cool bunch of guys who do anything to lend a hand to their neighbors.. Can't say enough about them
20 plus year on a volunteer fire dept i have never seen something as sad as this The fire being knocked down by property owners Then to watch it go fully involved after an engine company arived WOW very sad
Hi, all, I read all the comments that were posted here I agree and disagree with. I appreciate when people are honest and admit they’ve done a dangerous owning up it. I’m not a firefighter, but am willing to learn and be educated. For those that complain fire department training, why not checking them out. If you live in a rural area and the fire is a small volunteer agency, they do need help to meet services. I encourage you to check out fire station vlogs. I follow South Metro Fire Ann Rescue on their UA-cam channel. 20:15
😢sadly that house couldn’t be saved. The fire department wasn’t that professional. I give credit to Pauline’s attempt to put out the fire. I know volunteer firefighters that were professional. These guys need more training or get volunteers that can be firefighters. My state has high standards. My county installed hydrants in rural areas.
I get so tired of watching these guys walk around with no sense of urgency. Your neighbors tried and did a great job. Sorry to see this happen to your house.
Fighting the fire though a window instead of fighting it at the rear where the base of the fire is, would have made more sense. But let’s face it to save a wooden structure like this is an uphill struggle. Sorry to the owner
